- Roll identity and layout
- Record sample reference, ply, width, declared sheet layout, perforation spacing information available from the supplier and packaging state. Identify the intended portion the user selects. Bounty offers selectable sheet formats, which illustrates that tear-off quantity is a product question; its claims do not establish the behavior of a proposed private-label roll.
- Holder and position
- Record the installed holder or the defined unsupported-roll setup, clearance and trial location. Keep these configurations separate. A roll held by hand and a roll mounted on a spindle can behave differently during retrieval, so do not combine their observations without describing the change.
- Handling task
- Describe how the sheet is advanced and separated, including the agreed hand use and whether the task is dry or involves a defined use condition. Record the operator and relevant differences. Do not invent a standardized pulling speed, angle or wetting amount for this buyer observation.
- Tear event
- Record intended line, actual tear path, portion obtained, incomplete separation and any uncontrolled unrolling or correction. Distinguish tearing away from the perforation from a problem advancing the roll. Keep each event linked to the sample and configuration rather than reducing all events to a vague tears badly note.
- Scope and retained evidence
- Agree the practical observation scope with the buyer and retain individual events and sample references. Note whether observations concern a particular roll stage or changed condition. No universal count of attempts is supplied, and a few observations are not statistical acceptance of the production lot.
