- Room and accessory
- Record room category, holder reference, installation position and refill version. Identify whether the task uses a flat box, cube box or another approved route. Tork documents distinct facial-tissue formats and Moen documents a specific hotel holder; neither source establishes that a proposed private-label refill fits the room being tested.
- Start and end events
- Define an observable start, such as reaching for the replacement at the agreed staging point, and an end, such as the holder being restored with first-sheet access checked. List included activities explicitly. A timing that begins after the holder is opened cannot fairly be compared with one that includes opening it.
- Task sequence
- Record retrieval, old-pack removal, opening or preparation, insertion, holder closure and the agreed service check where applicable. Describe the actual sequence rather than forcing every format into identical steps. A new pack that removes one step may add another elsewhere in the housekeeping route.
- Operator and conditions
- Record operator, training or familiarity, room setup, refill staging and any assistance. Keep the same defined conditions for the comparison or document their differences. Faster work by an experienced operator does not independently establish that the tissue pack caused the improvement.
- Time and exceptions
- Record each trial duration, interruption and cause category. Keep ordinary task time separate from searching for stock, repairing a holder or handling a rejected sample. Do not erase exceptions to improve a result; decide in advance how they will be reported and what question each time measure answers.
